Socket Head Screws (Internal Drive Screws)

Applications

Internal drive screws (socket head screws) are primarily used in tight or hard-to-access spaces, as installation does not require external access to the screw head. Typical applications include machinery, vehicles, and engine assemblies.

Installation is carried out using:

L-shaped hex keys (Allen keys)
Screwdriver-type tools
Small driving tools (bits)

These screws are available in both fully threaded and partially threaded versions.

Different internal drive types are available, including:

Hex socket (Allen)
TORX drive, where force transmission occurs across flat surfaces rather than at corner نقاط, ensuring improved torque transfer and reduced wear

Internal drive screws are typically manufactured from high-strength steel and produced using advanced, mostly non-machining (cold forming) processes on specialized fastener production equipment.
