Steel production and the related cold forming, rod and wire production were the defining industries of our region before the change of regime. However, the new world treated the steel metallurgy of our region as a stepchild. Without investment and renewal, the vertical was irreparably ruined by the end of the last century.
At that time, more than three decades ago, a vision was born in the thoughts of the founder of Steelvent Zrt.: Let us preserve the nearly three-century-old metallurgical traditions of our region and develop the cold forming area of steel products to the best of our knowledge and in a sustainable manner so that we can ensure the highest technical and quality standards available.

Steelvent Zrt. has introduced and applies a quality management and environment-focused management system in the design, production and sale of fencing systems and gates, flat meshes and gratings, gabions, wires, rods and other drawn products, as well as fastener trade.
In 2011, 39 applications from 37 applicants were granted the right to use the Hungarian Product Award certification trademark. In Borsod Abaúj Zemplén County, only 1 applicant, Steelvent 2000 Zrt., was granted the right to use the trademark, with its hot-dip galvanized panel fencing system...
