Maximum safety with 2D panel fencing – strong, modern and durable steel fence
The 2D panel fence is a clean, flat-surfaced fence solution that gives the property boundary a modern, tidy appearance. The ribless, straight panel design is particularly well suited to contemporary family homes, but is also ideal for industrial sites, warehouses and office buildings. The advantage of the panel fence system compared to picket fences is that it can be built quickly and modularly, and the fence line can be easily adjusted to corners, gates and passages.
The stability of the 2D panels is provided by the double horizontal wiring, so despite the flat shape, a strong, reliable steel fence is created. This design is also a good choice if it is important that the fence maintains its straight line in the long term, is not wavy, and does not deform easily. For outdoor use, corrosion protection is a key issue, so the combination of galvanizing + UV-resistant powder coating is particularly advantageous: it is weatherproof, durable, and helps the steel fence to retain its color and aesthetics for years, with minimal maintenance.

Product features and benefits
Vertical thread spacing 50mm, horizontal thread spacing 200mm, so the spacing is 50x200 mm. The panels are available with normal, i.e. 6-5-6mm, and reinforced, i.e. 8-6-8 mm wire diameter.

Advantages of the 2D panel fence system – not only the panel counts
A truly strong fence system does not depend solely on the fence panel: the quality of the fence post and fasteners is equally important. The stable end result is provided by the entire system together, so it is worth choosing a solution where the panel-post-fixing is designed to each other.
- Post selection: With the right post, the 2D sign fence can be easily sized to the needs of the location, making it suitable for family homes, sites, and warehouses. The Steelvent ECO colored fence post is particularly practical here.
- Quick installation: due to the prefabricated elements, construction is usually quick and requires less on-site shaping than many traditional fences.
- Secure attachment: the attachment system determines how stable the signs are and how difficult the fence will be to dismantle on the street front. This is what the Steelvent type sign attachment is for.
The 2D sign fence is a good compromise between more transparent fences and solid, security-radiating solutions: aesthetic and functional at the same time. If higher protection requirements arise, the sign system can be further strengthened with the appropriate height and accessories, while maintaining the tidy, sophisticated overall look. It is often popular in modern buildings because it does not distract attention from the house, yet gives the property a definite frame.
Fixing and base
For the ST16 Botond type fence system, we recommend ST20 60 × 40 mm cross-section posts. The posts are made in a diggable or fixable, base version. Their surface protection is the same as that of the fence posts. If required, a more massive 60 x 60 mm cross-section post can also be used.
The fence posts are fixed to the fence post with a Steelvent type board fixing element (consisting of stainless steel and plastic elements). It is also possible to use a base element for the fence posts:
- 20 cm high
- 30 cm high
- 50 cm high
In the case of a base element, a base U profile must be used for the fence post.

In the case of privacy barrier, a reinforced post must always be ordered, which is available in the system.
Stable solution for animal husbandry
2D panel dog fence and kennel – a stable solution even for large dogs
If you are planning to build a dog fence or dog kennel, it is worth choosing a strong, double-strand 2D fence. The reinforced design is suitable for keeping even large dogs, if the installation is correct.
When it comes to dog fencing, it is especially important:
- Use of thick-walled fence posts (minimum 2 mm)
- Place the posts at least 80 cm deep
- Strong concreting so that the fence does not move even if the dog runs or jumps on it
This way, the 2D panel system will not only be beautiful and durable, but also a truly stable and safe dog fence.
