Eye Bolts

If the eye bolt is used as part of a lifting device, CE marking is required.

CE marking is not required if:

  • the eye bolt is not used for lifting (e.g. as a towing point), or
  • it is used for lifting only occasionally (e.g. for moving machinery)

If the eye nut is part of a lifting system, CE marking is required.

CE marking is not required if:

  • it is not used for lifting purposes (e.g. towing applications)

Tube Turnbuckles

Steel turnbuckles (minimum tensile strength: 330 N/mm²) are available with:

  • Galvanized finish
  • Hot-dip galvanized finish

Hooks and eyes are class 3.6 and always supplied galvanized.
